Application Instruction
Substrate Preparetion
Roughen the surface area with a wire brush, chisel, or by other mechanical means. Remove any loose or weakened concrete and mortar.
Proportion of Mixing
Crocodile Plug 4.8 kg per water 1 liter or Crocodile Plug 4 part: Water 1 part (by volume)
Mixing
Mix Plug in a clean container with fresh, uncontaminatedwater. Mix ratio by voulme is approximately one part water to four parts Plug. Optimum water temperature isapproximately 70°F (21°C).
At temperatures above 100°F (38°F), mix with cold water to increase working time. At temperatures below 40°F (4°C), keep Plug temperature at approximately 70°F (21°C) by using warm water.
Once water has been added, mix until material has attained aputty-like consistency. Shape the material to a form similar to the crack or cavity about to be repaired. USEGLOVES. Mixing time should not exceed two minutes. Never mix more than can be used within three minutes. Never add additiional water or retemper.
Application
Mix Crocodile Plug 4 parts with water 1 part by volume. Once Plug has achieved a stiff consistency and is shaped to fill the crack area, apply immediately. Force the material into the crack or cavity, compressing it firmly using a gloved palm, trowel, wood block, or other flat object. Hold it in place for over a minute. If there is a strong water flow hold for 5 minutes. Shave off any excess material with the edge of a trowel.
Caution
- Paste may cause injury to skin or eyes. Use of rubber gloves, dust masks, eye protection, and other safety equipment is recommended.
- If contact with eyes occurs, flush immediately and repeatedly with water, and then contact doctor immediately.
- Avoid contact with skin. Wash thoroughly after handling.
- Keep out of reach of children
Storage
It should be kept in a dry place and the temperature is not too high to avoid product’s degradation. Age of product is 1 year.
